About the Event
These group sessions have been specifically created to provide a secure, controlled environment, where dog owners can come and train around other dogs - whether thats reactivity, confidence building or engagement.
The sessions will be very relaxed, with no strict curriculum as such, other than focussing on rewarding calm behaviours, engagement and working around distractions.
These sessions will be closely monitored and managed by Simon himself to ensure everyone is safe and has the appropriate space throughout the session.
What you need to know
- 1 hour session
- Sessions every Sunday (times can change)
- Max 5 dogs per session
- Reactive dogs welcome!
- 24 hour cancellation policy
FYI* - There are two time slots as listed above. When booking please specify if you have a time preference, however please note your request may not be met depending on the dogs attending. We will always ensure we group dogs together appropriately, to ensure you get the most out of the session.
The Location
First of all, it's not pretty... but we don't need it to be. We meet in a very quiet industrial estate in the heart of Bury town centre, which provides lots of space, minimal traffic, lots of greenery, no off lead dogs (not a guarantee) and very very low foot traffic.... so it's ideal!
We also have the option of being able to walk into the town centre for a coffee (and some settle work) for those appropriate.
Please note, this is a public place and therefore you are fully responsible for you and your dog. Please ensure you ATLEAST have a lead and collar, a muzzle if appropriate and poo bags. You will also need to provide your own training food/treats.
Please also note, all attendees must have had a consultation prior to the session to ensure this is appropriate for your dog. Please contact Simon with any questions you may have.
